all the addons have links in the readme file, we made this mission quite a while ago, it got a good rating on ofpec so i hope it can get a good review here too. basically this is a cowboy mission with almost 100 custom sounds, a few cinematics, some people say this is the funnest mission they have ever played.
Special: Intro Briefing Outro Custom music Custom sounds REVIEW: Finally a mission with a totally new look , there are no russians or 85's yanks here but only the wild western gun toting sheriff and criminal folks. So you play as a sheriff and new to the job and in order to gain the townfolks respect and do your duty you gotta rein in some unruly criminals. The intro shows of the start as your deputy rounds up the possie (your crime fighting mob based on everyday civvies) the voices and music done in here and throughout the mission are of very good quality. Now on to the mission itself , you have plenty of objectives to fulfill and many bad guys to kill punctuated in between by the constant dialogue going on in between your team mates which are often humourous. The mission concept was fresh and fighting with old guns which went boom and cloud your vision with white smoke was quite refreshing experience however it got a bit repititive with the objectives turning out to be little more then go here and kill them and then go there and kill them , a little bit of variation from this monotonous theme would have been helpful to the missions playablity and overall score. Still even so the missions quite fun and a refreshing change from the usual stuff we do in OFP (kill commies). Get this one for sure its a fun mission with music/sounds and a lot of wise cracks in between not to mention those badass clint eastwood (or so i think thats his voice?) dialogues. Regards Ace |
